There is so much disinformation on social media and cable news regarding abortion these days. Since the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling disinformation has propagated, and over the last few weeks the disinformation machine intensified.
Misinformation#1: Most Americans do not support a woman’s right to choose.
The Truth is that 62% of Americans support legal abortion.
Misinformation#2: Legal Abortion is not safe.
The Truth is that legal abortions are very safe, in fact they are about 60 times safer than giving birth.

Misinformation#3: Fetuses can feel pain early in a pregnancy.
The Truth is that fetuses do not start feeling pain until somewhere between 29 - 30 weeks since the nervous system is not developed enough.

Misinformation#4: Many abortions occur late in the pregnancy.
The Truth is that over 89% of abortions occur by 12 weeks of gestation.
